‘. . . As a primary school we have sought first aid training which is specifically targeted upon the treatment and care of children. This has been delivered to our whole schools staff numbering some 40+ adults. I have always been impressed and delighted with the course content, its focus and delivery. The trainers clearly understood the needs of their target audience and are able to impart their knowledge in an interesting and clear manner.
From my perspective as Headteacher, it is vital that my staff are left with a clear understanding of the skills covered. Both the trainers are very explicit and clear about what the objectives of the course and the key skills involved are. My staff have appreciated their training sessions which are practical, entertaining and informative. The feedback from each session held has always been highly complementary and positive. In line with the ages of the ‘patients' being talked about, the trainers have always been careful to bring manikins and models of an appropriate size and ‘age'. This has added to the confidence that staff have developed.
I have no hesitation in using [Immediate Care Solutions] again. They provide my staff excellent training which is tailored to our needs. Their general manner is always polite, professional and friendly which makes them very easy to deal with especially in the environment of a school.‘
Mr. K. Grout, Headteacher Lady Joanna Thornhill (Endowed) Primary School, Kent
‘[Immediate Care Solutions] has delivered first aid training to the children and staff at Sellindge Primary School on a number of occasions. These sessions have been successful, highly informative and delivered with clarity and professionalism. . .
. . . Staff feedback demonstrated that they felt they had received first rate training and were comfortable in asking questions which were immediately and appropriately answered.
The content of the sessions and the way in which the information was imparted ensured all objectives set, were covered. The resources and equipment used such as bandages, baby and child manikins, handouts etc. were of a high quality and appropriate to the needs of the sessions.
We felt administration before, during and after the training was good and that sessions offered good value for money. The staff and children feel much more confident and aware as far as First Aid is concerned and knowing that personnel within the school receive high standards of training has brought peace of mind to parents.‘
Miss Helen Baxter, Headteacher Sellindge Primary School, Kent
‘'I am writing to say thank you on behalf of all the staff who attended the training session that you kindly provided here at the Abbey Practice. It is always useful to go over and re-inforce the previous training, but the additional information with regard to children given was especially important. Thank you for your patience and for making the session entertaining as well as informative.'
Mrs Janet Stellon, Practice Manager Abbey Practice, Kent
‘'I am writing to express my thanks for the wonderful First Aid training you delivered to staff from Garden Organic and the Health Education Trust. We had a great day, learnt lots and managed to avoid the mid afternoon slump that is so often common on these training days. This was due to your lively and humerous delivery of what can be a daunting and grim subject area. I know that many of my team would now feel confident to deal with a medical emergency should the need arise. We look forward to working with you again in the future. I would highly recommend your training sessions to anyone who is looking for a provider in this subject area.'
Colette Bond, Education Manager Garden Organic, Coventry
