This half day course is designed to give delegates an understanding of why we use automated external defibrillators (AED’s) in first aid and covers the safe and effective use of these machines in order to improve the chances of survival for a heart attack victim. No prior knowledge of first aid is assumed but encouraged for this course.

Each delegate will receive a handbook to work from which can be kept for future reference and there are plenty of opportunities to practice new skills under the supervision of the instructor during the course..
